Humans are born out out of either neccesity or impulse, which could also be a framework of one’s living principles. When I mentioned neccesity, it is when either the parent or the State sees the need of another child or citizen respectively. What about impulse? It has got to be impulsive when the wants overshadowed the needs with the influence of lust or monetary remuneration. The ones being born are powerless and forcibly contracted to the state with a national numerical social number. In this particular case, I am Mr S8504XXXH. Now, being a property of the State, the new citizens need a purpose or are given roles to perform inevitably. Purpose? Purpose of living? Purposeful living? Living with purposes? There would be a time when anyone would find a purpose that they are living for, preferably, without imposition by the seniors or the State. With this realisation, one may ask, why then do we still obey? In the context of where this writer is from, Asians tend to lean towards altruitic morality through its generations of culture and spiritual emphasis. In a place I would love to believe as home, fear is the main drive to conditional success.
